Provide lifelong memories for people with disabilities
This is a story of one woman who participated in last year's Coming of Age Ceremony. She was in a situation where it was difficult for her to even go outside due to the trauma caused by bullying she experienced in the past. Her family and employment support staff encouraged her to join the ceremony, she mustered up the courage to do so, but when she arrived at the venue on that day, she was so anxious that she couldn't get out of the car. However, as she changed into her furisode and received warm congratulations from people around her, her expression gradually softened. And the moment she saw a photo of herself in her furisode with cherry blossoms fully blooming, she was surprised and thought, "I could shine like this," then she could gain back confidence. Our goal is to deliver these "moments to be proud of yourself." The significance of Coming of Age Ceremony is to support each individual in taking a new step, regardless of whether they have a disability or not, and to help them grasp new hope at this turning point in their lives.
